Image hashes are mathematical representations and cannot reasonably be used to recreate the original image.
Message Classification
Frostbite is testing a scam classifier for message text. While it is being tested:
- It runs on Frostbite's own servers. Message text is not sent to a third party to be scored.
- It scores messages in every server Frostbite is in, whatever filters are enabled.
- It takes no action. It does not delete messages, alert staff, or punish anyone.
- Frostbite keeps the text of messages that score as likely scams, plus a small random sample of other messages, so it can check how accurate the classifier is.
- Before a message is stored, user mentions, links, server invites, and custom emoji are replaced with placeholders. The author's user ID is not stored.
- Stored messages are deleted after 30 days.
Stored messages may be reviewed by the developer, with help from AI services, and used to train future versions of the classifier.
5. Legal Basis (GDPR)
Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, Frostbite processes data under one or more of the following legal bases:
- Legitimate interests in operating and securing the service.
